Welcome to Winsome Pugs. I've had a passion for animals since I was a child. For 12 years I showed hunters and jumpers and prior to entering college broke and galloped racehorses. Between a career and a family I had to satisfy my love for animals in the form of house pets. Once my children left home I immediately jumped at the opportunity to get involved showing dogs. At that point my passion for dogs had been fully engulfed by the pug breed. I was hooked.

Currently, I am very active in showing my pugs in AKC & CKC conformation events and obedience. Additionally I am involved in Pet Therapy. Every Thursday my neutered male, Snubby, and I visit our local hospital to bring a little cheer to the patients and staff and I might add myself..

I am a member of the Northern California Pug Club, City of Angels Pug Club, Pug Dog Club of America, Love on a Leash, the Santa Ynez Valley Dog Club, and the Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital Auxiliary.

I primarily breed for my own show and breeding stock. On occasion I do sell male show prospects as well as puppies to pet homes.
