Welcome to Winsome Pugs. I've had a passion for animals since I was a child. For 12 years I showed hunters and jumpers and prior to entering college broke and galloped race horses. Between a career and a family I had to satisfy my love for animals in the form of house pets. Once my children left home I immediately jumped at the opportunity to get involved showing dogs. At that point my passion for dogs had been fully engulfed by the pug breed. I was hooked.

Currently, I am very active in showing my pugs in AKC & CKC conformation events. Over the years I had been quite active in AKC obedience events and Pet Therapy at our local hospital. Unfortunately as my breeding program evolved I had to make choices with my time so now I concentrate full time on showing in conformation events and breeding beautiful/healthy pugs.

I am a member of the Northern California Pug Club, City of Angels Pug Club, Pug Dog Club of America and Santa Maria Kennel Club.

I primarily breed for my own show and breeding stock. On occasion I do sell show prospects as well as puppies to pet homes.
